Over Spring Break I attended the AIAS (American Institute of American Students) West Quad Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, with five other people from the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture. It was great! We networked with other archi students from around the Western region of the US, and explored lots of different architectural and natural wonders around Vegas. Most of the pictures I have in this blog post are from our day in Red Rock Canyon because I was pretty blown away by how vast the canyon was, and how varied it was in the kinds of rock and vegetation it had, it was nuts! Taking pictures in the city with my 35mm was a bit of a challenge anyways, given my focal length (prime lens problems, amiright?), but mobile photos are still to come. Stay tuned! 🙂
